As a young child, I became a world traveler. In grade school, I lived in Germany with my family and later spent several years attending school in Japan. Later in life, I decided to take another trip around the world and deploy to Afghanistan as a civilian. There I got to experience things most people can’t imagine; seeing how the world we live in was completely different than what I grew up experiencing. Early on, I learned to be adaptable and adjust to any situation I was presented with, and I’ve made many friends around the world.
Throughout just about every time in my life, I have worked with a lot of people. In real estate it’s key for success, and in my prior career it was also crucial. Sometimes we encounter strong personalities on our journeys, and those are not always easy to adapt to. However, moments like that have the ability to push us further than we knew possible. I was a strong, independent person before I built my career around the world, but by the time I came back, that experience sharpened those characteristics.
I continued to build my career and grow my family with the additions of my son, Cason, and my daughter, Kamryn, when we lived in Maryland. My children motivate me to aim higher, and with our move to San Antonio I began considering careers to stay closer to home. We moved here to be closer to my husband’s roots (having grown up in Texas), and once we were here, I discovered real estate.
I became a licensed REALTOR® in 2019 because I instantly recognized the promise real estate holds and the opportunities not only for my husband and I, but also for our children. While real estate is my passion, I would not be who I am today without my earlier career in the Department of Defense. My 17 years of experience working in high-pressure situations instilled in me strength and determination. It pushed my adaptability to the next level as I learned to thrive on chaos and continue striving for the next level of success.
While becoming a REALTOR®, I also became a real estate investor and created a plan to build generational wealth that my children have become actively involved in. I strongly believe everything happens for a reason. Everything I have been through and experienced brought me to where I am today and has enabled me to build the life I want for my family. I will continue building a home and legacy for our family and also for others in my community, because since the moment we moved here, I knew I wasn’t going back.
Whenever I am not working, I enjoy working out, playing pickleball (if you haven’t tried it, you are missing out!), going to my children’s sporting events, and spending time at local craft breweries with friends. My favorite part of being a REALTOR® is making new friendships with my clients and getting to meet new people.
Wherever you are, I am here to make things easier. It may seem simple, but I prioritize communication because I am not here to sell a home, I’m here to build a relationship with you. As your REALTOR®, I’ve got your back. Through the whole process, I will keep up with everyone involved to make sure we’re all doing our part to keep you on track with your goals. Through a collaborative approach, I help my clients create win-win scenarios so we can all keep moving forward together.
There is always a solution, so even if I do not have an answer for you right away, I will go get one. I take the time to explore creative avenues so you can choose the best one to fit you. My strong relationships with others in the industry help my clients stand out even before we get started. Adaptability is a central part of who I am, and I enjoy using that skill to walk my clients through whatever surprises we may encounter. Once the transaction is over, I will still be here to help you reach your goals as your lifelong REALTOR®.
Sincerely,
Christine Johnson
